About The Position

One Federal Solution (OFS) is seeking an experienced Contract Specialist I to provide acquisition and contracting support for a Federal Government client in Arlington, Virginia. The role assists with contract actions throughout the acquisition lifecycle and works closely with Federal employees, contractors, and divisions across the organization. It is a full-time, onsite position at 1215 S. Clark Street, Arlington, VA 22202. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to undergo and pass a Public Trust background investigation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 24 credit hours in business.
• At least four years of related work experience demonstrating the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
• Recent Federal Contracting Officer or Contract Specialist experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 8, 12, and 15.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to undergo and pass a Public Trust background investigation.

Nice To Haves

• FAC-C Level II or DAWIA Level II certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct contract reviews and assist with cradle-to-grave contract operations, including call order modifications and contract closeouts.
• Input contracts, task orders, and purchase orders into the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS).
• Assist Government Contracting Officers with large and small purchase contract actions.
• Review solicitation packages for completeness.
• Advise and assist program offices by providing examples of required documents to include in solicitation packages.
• Support contracting activities in accordance with applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements.
• Liaise with Federal employees, contractors, and divisions across the organization in support of contracting activities.
