About The Position

The FBI Contract Manager will be responsible for maintaining and developing positive relationships with key customer personnel, understanding and meeting customer needs, and reviewing logistics performance. This role involves developing and implementing technical project management tools, directing team activities, and assisting in preparing and briefing mission requirements and logistics operations. The position also requires projecting manpower utilization and making recommendations regarding personnel actions. A Top Secret security clearance is required for this position.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
  • Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
  • The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
  • The ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (includes finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events).
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
  • Must able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance.
  • Active Top Secret clearance

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and develops positive relationships with a customer's key personnel involved in or directly relevant
  • Develops an understanding of customers' needs and take actions to ensure that such needs are met.
  • Reviews logistics performance with customers against targets, benchmarks and service agreements.
  • Develops and implements technical project management tools such as plans, schedules, and responsibility and compliance matrices.
  • Directs team activities, establishing task priorities, scheduling and tracking work assignments, providing guidance, and ensuring the availability of resources.
  • Assists in preparing / briefing mission requirements and logistics operations activities to the Support Organization leadership and government personnel as required.
  • Assists in projecting manpower utilization based upon workload and makes recommendations to project management staff concerning personnel actions.
