About The Position

Implements SelectHealth policies for the negotiation, execution, and maintenance of SelectHealth vendor contracts. Works with all levels of staff and management to administer the contract review process to ensure proper review, documentation, and signature. Implements centralized contract filing/maintenance and storage. We are committed to offering flexible work options where approved and stated in the job posting. Please note that a video interview through Microsoft Teams will be required as well as potential onsite interviews and meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, from an accredited institution which will be verified, in an applicable major.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with and analyzing contracts.
  • Intermediate experience with word processing and spreadsheet programs.
  • Excellent writing, editing, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree obtained through an accredited institution.
  • Legal or paralegal experience.
  • Four years of experience in working with and analyzing contracts
  • Experience working for an insurer, health care provider, pharmacy benefit manager, or pharmaceutical company.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, problem solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Implements the contract approval process, including preparing documents for signature.
  • Understands and implements SelectHealth standards for non-complex contracts.
  • Drafts, reviews, and negotiates simple non-standard contracts.
  • Develops, updates, and maintains a process for the timely electronic filing and storage of all contracts.
  • Assists in providing training in the creation, development, negotiation, approval, execution, and maintenance of contracts and standards to SelectHealth caregivers.
