The Stephenson Cancer Center is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Contract/Grant Manager to play a vital role in supporting innovative programs that transform patient care, research, and outcomes. In this exciting position, you will serve as a key partner in managing a large and complex portfolio of sponsored grants and contracts, ensuring the financial health, operational success, and strategic growth of critical cancer research initiatives. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Management, or closely-related field.
  • 60 months experience in business management, administration, accounting, finance, operations management or closely related area.
  • 24 months of the required experience must be directly related to coordinating/managing sponsored grants or contracts.
  • Will accept 48 months experience in lieu of Bachelor's Degree for a total of 108 months experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced experience with Excel.
  • Experience in PeopleSoft and eCRT/ECC effort tracking system.

Responsibilities

  • Lead comprehensive grant and contract management, including budget development, fiscal planning, forecasting, and financial oversight.
  • Direct the day-to-day management of operations for complex sponsored programs and revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans that support program growth, sustainability, and long-term success.
  • Monitor grant and contract performance, ensuring compliance, accountability, and achievement of key objectives.
  • Partner with leadership, investigators, and stakeholders to identify opportunities for program development and revenue enhancement.
  • Drive marketing and outreach efforts that elevate program visibility and expand funding opportunities.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to support informed decision-making and optimize program outcomes.
  • Supervision of other staff members.
