About The Position
We are seeking experienced Event Production Technicians to support church services and hosted events on an event-by-event contracted basis. Events include memorials, weddings, church services, faith-based conferences, community gatherings, and outside rentals (faith-based and non-faith-based), including occasional outdoor events. This is a 1099 independent contractor role scheduled as needed based on our event calendar. We are building a flexible production team and are currently hiring for Audio Technician, Lighting Technician, Stagehand / Production Support, and Event Manager (Advanced Role).
Requirements
- Experience in live event or church production
- Working knowledge of audio and/or lighting systems
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Availability for evenings and weekends
- Strong communication and client-facing professionalism
Nice To Haves
- Digital console experience
- Lighting programming experience
- Livestream or video production experience
- Event coordination or stage management background
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and strike audio, lighting, staging, and basic video systems
- Support projection and livestream needs when required
- Maintain professionalism, especially during memorial services
- Follow venue safety standards (fire safety, OSHA awareness, ADA considerations)
- Keep production areas organized and event-ready
