About The Position

The Lincoln Center Internship Program is a paid, in-person arts administration internship designed for NYC-based undergraduate and graduate students seeking meaningful, real-world experience in the cultural sector. This program cultivates the next generation of leaders by offering hands-on work opportunities and access to professionals across the arts and culture field. As part of this program, the Event Production Intern(s) will join the Production Department, supporting the planning and execution of live performances, public events, and internal operations across Lincoln Center’s campus.

Requirements

  • A college student with an interest in event production, live entertainment, or technical theater
  • Based in New York City or the Greater NYC area
  • Available for a flexible and changing schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • A strong critical thinker who is resourceful, adaptable, and eager to learn
  • Curious about how the arts are brought to life through logistics, planning, and technical production
  • A self-starter who also thrives in team environments

Nice To Haves

  • Experienced in Adobe Suite, AutoCAD & Vectorworks is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Support the Event Production (EP) Team in advancing and executing live events of varying scale
  • Assist with departmental and event-related administrative tasks
  • Collaborate with Production and Technical Directors on daily operations
  • Help assess and manage inventory of equipment and supplies
  • Assist in software updates on production devices
  • Run errands related to events and event prep
  • Help create and organize standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production documentation
  • Take on other projects and tasks as needed in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
