About The Position
Legacy Business Services, a trusted business support and advisory organization within The Rise Collective, is seeking skilled real estate attorneys, business and asset protection lawyers. The role focuses on assisting clients with post-closing residential transactions where land trusts or an LLC holds legal title. The work is flexible and designed to match expertise and preferred engagement style. Legacy is committed to delivering ethical, dependable, and high-quality support, ensuring investors receive thoughtful guidance. A key aspect of this role involves connecting clients with local counsel in their jurisdiction to ensure asset protection goals are handled correctly.
Requirements
- Licensed Attorney in one of the given states: Oregon (OR), Missouri (MO), South Carolina (SC), New Hampshire (NH), Georgia (GA), Indiana (IN), Michigan (MI), New Jersey (NJ), Ohio (OH), Utah (UT), Tennessee (TN)
- Residential real estate experience
- Deed preparation experience
- Experience drafting basic LLC Operating Agreements
Responsibilities
- Drafting and reviewing documents including: Land Trust Agreement, General Warranty Deed, LLC Operating Agreement, Assignment of Beneficial Interest
- Reviewing and assessing client’s needs (with assistance from LBS team)
- Confirming County requirements for deed recordation
- Direct client engagement; willingness to consult with the client for up to 1 hour upon request
- Adhere to deadlines and provides updates on workflows
