The New York City Department of Transportation’s Division of Bridges oversees the design, construction, rehabilitation, maintenance, operation, and administration of over 800 bridges, 4 vehicular tunnels, 637 retaining walls, and 54 culverts. The Division's Bureau of Finance and Performance Management drives financial, operational, and performance oversight for the Division's capital and operating programs. This bureau manages a $200 Million operating budget and a $13 Billion Capital Budget, oversees procurements, ensures compliance, advances efficiency initiatives, directs project delivery, issues overweight truck permits, and serves as a key liaison for accountability and transparency. This position will assist the Confidential Strategy Planner in various fields including procurement, budget, grants, and operations, with tasks such as new needs, special procurements, budget analysis, contracts, project management, and railroad force accounts.
