About The Position

The Contracts Administrator will support the F-35 T&L Market Segment with proposal preparation, negotiation, and contract administration. This role involves providing business advice and guidance, and coordinating with various functions such as Program Management, Finance, Legal, Subcontracts, Business Development, Engineering, Human Resources, Accounting, and Compliance to effectively manage responsibilities. The position serves as an authorized representative of the company, interacting with customer buying representatives to build relationships and manage contracts. The candidate will maintain communication with cross-functional organizations and customers to ensure compliance with contract obligations and execute required actions on time. This includes ensuring contractual compliance with all laws and regulations, and adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions. The role also involves leading and supporting audits with internal and external teams to verify compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or higher with 2 or more years of experience
  • Contract life cycle experience including proposals, negotiations, administration, and closeout
  • Develop, negotiate, and execute contracts
  • Possess basic working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)
  • Support audits with internal and external audit teams and agencies

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with USG cost estimating and exposure to finance analysis is desired.
  • Knowledge of various contract types (CPFF, CPIF, FFP, FPIF, T&M, OTA)
  • Ability to work independently and Task oriented and attention to detail
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment
  • Strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.
  • Basic working understanding and application of government contracting principles, concepts, practices, and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide contracts administration support, reviewing requirements and assessing contract change impacts.
  • Lead and coordinate effort in preparing proposals in response to solicitations.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure proper contract fulfillment through diligent administration.
  • Advise leadership and program management on contractual rights, obligations, and risks.
  • Maintain effective customer contact activities and serve as the Company’s authorized representative.
  • Ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations, and adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions.
  • Lead and support audits with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support contract related activities and verify compliance.
