About The Position

This position coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, identifying and communicating goals and objectives, building accountability for and measuring progress, identifying improvement opportunities, and promoting continuous learning. The role involves providing supervision and development opportunities for associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and fostering a belonging mindset. It ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, supports the company's mission, values, and ethics, and utilizes the Open Door Policy. Key responsibilities include implementing training programs at the facility level, participating in the Functional/Divisional training network, and managing the execution and quality of delivery for change programs. The manager will oversee and lead project teams for change initiatives, establish and measure change KPIs, ensure consistent messaging, and provide clear direction to end-users. They will act as an active member of the facility leadership team, sharing expertise, coaching others, and driving change initiatives. The role also involves coordinating with facility and home office associates for corporate initiatives, managing training materials, supporting Quality, Safety, and Human Resources teams, and guiding the Leadership Development process. This includes managing hourly associate training programs, assessing training effectiveness, and ensuring training is tracked and scheduled. The manager supports associate engagement by providing learning opportunities, building relationships, offering cross-training, monitoring work plans, and resolving issues. Requirements

  • 6 months experience as a Walmart Supply Chain associate OR 1 year's experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution center environment OR 2 or more years' of college in a Business or related field

  • Incorporate the initial change impact assessment results into program delivery plans
  • Ensure stakeholder alignment
  • Communicate change initiatives and lead program interventions to help achieve desired change outcomes
  • Provide change sponsorship as required
  • Oversee, coordinate, and provide leadership to project team supporting change initiatives
  • Establish and measure change key performance indicators for change programs
  • Ensure consistency in messaging between multiple projects
  • Deliver clear direction to end users (e.g., project team, facility leadership, facility associate)
  • Manage site communications and develop a communication strategy and execution model
  • Act as an active member of the facility leadership team
  • Share knowledge, expertise, and coaching to develop others
  • Leverage involvement in operations programs to drive change initiatives through modeling appropriate change management behaviors
  • Engage program teams in the change management process
  • Coordinate with facility level and home office level associates and leadership to implement corporate initiatives
  • Coordinate training programs utilizing and maintaining training materials
  • Leverage associate expertise and resources to assist in the facilitation of training in the facility
  • Support Quality, Safety, and Human Resources teams in meeting training requirements
  • Guide and execute the Leadership Development process across the facility
  • Manage and coordinate the hourly associate training programs (e.g., Lead Program)
  • Assess and calibrate training programs to determine training effectiveness
  • Ensure required training is tracked and scheduled
  • Work with the Implementation Managers to ensure the overall training strategy is delivered
  • Support associate engagement by providing learning opportunities
