About The Position

Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices. The role involves implementing training programs at the facility level, participating in a functional/divisional training network, and managing the execution and quality of delivery across change programs. This includes incorporating change impact assessment results, ensuring stakeholder alignment, communicating initiatives, and leading program interventions. The manager oversees and provides leadership to project teams supporting change initiatives, establishing and measuring KPIs, ensuring consistent messaging, and managing site communications. They act as an active member of the facility leadership team, sharing expertise and coaching, and leveraging operations programs to drive change. The position coordinates with facility and home office associates to implement corporate initiatives, utilizes and maintains training materials, and supports Quality, Safety, and Human Resources teams. It also guides and executes the Leadership Development process, manages hourly associate training programs, assesses training effectiveness, and ensures required training is tracked. The role supports associate engagement by providing learning opportunities, building relationships, offering cross-training, monitoring work plans, and resolving issues. The manager is expected to respect individuals by building high-performing teams, embracing differences, creating a culture of belonging, and fostering opportunities for all associates to thrive. They should work collaboratively, build trusting relationships, and communicate with impact. Requirements

  • 6 months experience as a Walmart Supply Chain associate OR 1 year's experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution center environment OR 2 or more years' of college in a Business or related field.

  • Participates as a member of the Functional/Divisional training network with other facilities to determine current best practices and share learnings
  • Manages execution and quality of delivery across the change programs as assigned incorporating the initial change impact assessment results into program delivery plans ensuring stakeholder alignment communicating change initiatives and leading program interventions to help achieve our desired change outcomes and providing change sponsorship as required
  • Oversees coordinates and provides leadership to project team supporting change initiatives establishing and measuring change key performance indicators for change programs ensuring consistency in messaging between multiple projects delivering clear direction to end users for example project team facility leadership facility associate and managing site communications and developing a communication strategy and execution model
  • Acts as an active member of the facility leadership team sharing knowledge expertise and coaching to develop others leveraging involvement in operations programs to drive change initiatives through modeling appropriate change management behaviors and engaging program teams in the change management process
  • Coordinates with facility level and home office level associates and leadership to implement corporate initiatives
  • Coordinates training programs utilizing and maintaining training materials leveraging associate expertise and resources to assist in the facilitation of training in the facility supporting Quality Safety and Human Resources teams in the meeting training requirements
  • Guides and executes the Leadership Development process across the facility managing and coordinating the hourly associate training programs for example Lead Program assessing and calibrating training programs to determine training effectiveness ensuring required training is tracked and scheduled working with the Implementation Managers to ensure the overall training strategy is delivered
  • Supports associate engagement by providing learning opportunities building relationships providing crosstraining opportunities consistently encouraging cross functional teamwork monitoring work plans workloads and associates schedules in order to meet deadlines resolving issues to avoid delays in project deliverables and using systems to audit progress and identify concerns early
  • Builds high-performing teams embraces differences in people cultures ideas and experiences creates a workplace where associates feel seen supported and connected through a culture of belonging creates opportunities for all associates to thrive and perform
