About The Position

The Continuous Quality Improvement Manager (CQIM) leads efforts to design, implement, and sustain CQI processes for DCFS coaching programs. This role ensures that coaching programs are delivered with fidelity, effectiveness, and sustainability by monitoring program operations, assessing outcomes, and identifying opportunities for improvement. The CQIM does not provide coaching to staff or supervisors but serves as the expert on evaluating and improving coaching programs, ensuring alignment with the DCFS vision, Well-being goals, and implementation science principles. This includes but is not limited to: data entry, developing and maintaining databases and providing data analysis and reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, public administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in child welfare or related fields, including experience providing program evaluation, quality improvement, or data-driven program management.
  • Superior typing and computer skills.
  • Excellent communicative abilities (verbal and written).
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and organize data and multiple job demands is essential.
  • Knowledge of computerized database set up.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology, public administration or related field.
  • Experience applying implementation science principles, evaluating coaching or professional development programs, and working with evidence-based and evidence-informed interventions, and practices.
  • Knowledge of psychological/social work and child welfare terminology highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain CQI processes specific to DCFS coaching programs.
  • Monitor program implementation to ensure fidelity, quality, and consistency.
  • Analyze program data to identity trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide recommendations to leadership for program enhancement and sustainability.
  • Collect, validate, and analyze data for coaching programs to assess program effectiveness and outcomes.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate program performance to leadership.
  • Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of program evaluation data.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, program leaders, and external partners to support CQI activities.
  • Incorporate feedback from partners, including program participants and partners, into CQI recommendations.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships to promote program evaluation and improvement initiatives.
  • Provide guidance to program staff on CQI principles, data interpretation, and quality improvement processes.
  • Support the integration of CQI findings into program operations and planning.
