About The Position

The Continuous Improvement Team (CIT), formerly known as the School Improvement Team (SIT), is responsible for the building-level monitoring of Schoolcraft’s Michigan Integrative Continuous Improvement Process (MICIP) goals and the activation of building-level work aligned with the district’s Strategic Plan. This role embraces a continuous improvement process influenced by improvement science, focusing on ongoing cycles of inquiry, monitoring, and adjustments for sustained growth. The CIT emphasizes a whole-child focus, data-driven decision-making, an integrated approach using various tools, and systematic, systems-level changes to sustain improvement efforts. A key responsibility includes addressing Strategic Priority 1.3: Post-High School Success Preparation by developing a Portrait of a Graduate, ensuring students are prepared for their chosen post-secondary pathway. This involves defining the K-12 teaching and learning experience and fostering a shared vision for student learning. The team seeks members who can collaborate, challenge the status quo, share work with colleagues, and commit to regular meetings.
