About The Position

Hartmann Canada Inc, a division of Hartmann North America and a world leader in moulded fibre egg cartons, is seeking a Continuous Improvement Lead for its Planning, Supply Chain, and Customer Service departments. This is a new, high-impact global role within the Global Process Excellence (PEX) team, focused on driving continuous improvement initiatives across Europe and North America. The role involves streamlining administrative processes, leveraging Lean principles, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The position reports to the Head of Global Process Excellence at the Danish headquarters.

Requirements

  • Strong, hands-on Lean expertise with a track record of applying Lean principles to deliver measurable results within administrative processes
  • 8+ years of experience in continuous improvement or process optimization within a manufacturing environment
  • Deep knowledge of Planning, Customer Service, and Logistics/Inventory administrative processes
  • Proven experience leading Lean workshops (e.g., Kaizen, value stream mapping) and implementing structured CI frameworks in global settings
  • Lean certification (Green Belt or higher) required
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)

  • Solid understanding of ERP systems; exposure to AI, automation, or digital tools is a strong advantage

Responsibilities

  • Apply Lean methodologies to map current-state processes, identify administrative waste, and drive sustainable improvements within Planning, Supply Chain and Customer Service
  • Partner with Process Owners and key stakeholders to uncover optimization opportunities and implement best practices
  • Facilitate structured Lean workshops (e.g., value stream mapping, Kaizen events) and lead process redesign initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with global business strategy in collaboration with the PEX Steering Committee
  • Monitor and report on KPIs tied to process efficiency and Lean performance, translating insights into actionable improvements
  • Lead change management efforts to adopt and sustain a Lean mindset
  • Collaborate with IT to enable digital solutions that support Lean and efficient workflows
  • Develop and uphold global CI standards, governance frameworks, and Lean best practices
  • Stay current on Lean advancements, digitalization trends, and process excellence methodologies
