Requirements

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • Be fully proficient both in French and English, speaking and writing
  • Be comfortable in supporting a manufacturing unionized environment
  • Strong facilitation skills to guide teams through improvement activities and discussions
  • Strong communication skills and confidence speaking and presenting in front of groups
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to support and influence change management
  • Working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Shadow the Continuous Improvement Business Partner
  • Facilitate / co-facilitate continuous improvement activities
  • May have to present in front of various audience
  • Main internal customer focus will be on MROs
  • Support any other governance initiatives as required
