Requirements

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • Fast learning and self-reliant
  • Good ability to work as a team and communicate
  • Good knowledge of French and English, spoken and written
  • Good priority management
  • Knowledge the MS Office suite software, Power BI
  • Basic knowledge in manufacturing environment
  • Requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Promote the CORE tools of the new continuous improvement system throughout the organization.
  • Support and guide the implementation initiatives within the manufacturing center.
  • Initiatives range from organizing work areas to establishing manufacturing standards and driving initiative production.
  • Support the commitment of hourly employees in using CORE tools through several weekly meetings to structure the approach for the entire Longueuil manufacturing center.
  • Supervise the continuous improvement initiatives defined in the annual plan by participating in or supporting employees.
  • Reinforce the culture of continuous improvement by using CORE tools on a daily basis (training, communication, workshops).
