Requirements

  • Basic math/measurement & reading comprehension skills
  • High school education preferred; college coursework or certification in continuous improvement or lean principles desired.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • 1–3 years of experience with 5S, Kanban, standardized workflow, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, and visual factory as a participant required; facilitator experience preferred.
  • Experience training employees or transferring technical and manufacturing knowledge.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to engage employees and support change.
  • Office-based role with approximately 30–50% time on the plant floor, including exposure to noise and weather conditions; appropriate PPE is required.

  • Facilitator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate P2E activities with plant management.
  • Evaluate operations to identify waste and opportunities for improvement.
  • Facilitate Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen activities.
  • Develop, prioritize, and recommend solutions that reduce waste and improve performance.
  • Document and standardize improvements to support consistent execution and sustainability.
  • Promote continuous improvement across teams and functions.
  • Teach, coach, and mentor employees in P2E and lean principles.
  • Train employees to identify and eliminate waste in daily work.
  • Develop programs that foster a strong continuous improvement culture.
  • May develop and deliver production skills and competency training.
