Requirements

  • Must have working knowledge of internal and customers specifications.
  • Must know where internal and customer specifications are located and be able to access them.
  • Must have proven competency on CTQ measurement equipment through GPI measurement system training process.
  • Must have knowledge of plant SOP’s that relate to the quality of product.

Responsibilities

  • Audit product to specifications using CTQ, Parcview, and SAP data.
  • Perform CTQ testing on product.
  • Use data and experience to set priorities on where to focus time and effort on each shift.
  • Move defective material into blocked stock.
  • Audit processes on the production floor.
  • Work with production personnel to insure correct processes are being followed.
  • Notify supervisors and management of chronic failure to comply with procedures though end of shift email and conversations.
  • Complete Z9s for defective material using production, Parcview, and SAP data to support findings.
  • Enter Z9s into SAP on the same shift they were created and communicate via email with plant management/supervisors.
  • Complete end of shift emails reviewing all major issues that occurred on shift with data and facts.
  • Respond to production request for additional information on quality issues with analyzed data.
  • Gather samples of the defect and document using the Z9 process.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork documenting rejected material.
  • Support production in identifying and quarantine of all suspect supplier material in inventory using SAP.
  • Train other departments and document training through HR.
  • Responsible for completing safety training and audits every month.
  • Must complete computer training each month.
  • Must attend safety meeting as required.
  • Responsible for cleaning QA labs at the end of each shift.
  • Perform special testing, gage R&R’s, and MSA’s at the request of the Quality Supervisor.
