About The Position

National Grid is seeking a Continuous Improvement & Automation Lead within its Learning & Development function to drive operational excellence, streamline processes, and identify automation opportunities that enhance the colleague learning experience. The role will shape learning operations across National Grid, working with stakeholders in the UK and US to improve efficiency, scalability, and continuous improvement practices. It combines process improvement expertise with automation capabilities to transform learning service delivery and support evolving business needs.

Requirements

• Experience leading continuous improvement programs within complex organizations.
• Strong understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence methodologies.
• Experience delivering process automation and digital transformation initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience using data and insight to drive business decisions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative approach and passion for innovation and improvement.
