This role ensures students gain the knowledge, hands on skills, and professional competencies necessary for safe, effective practice in clinical and community settings. Instructors create an inclusive, supportive learning environment that accommodates diverse learners while maintaining compliance with institutional, regulatory, and certifying body standards. They serve as subject matter experts and professional role models, using evidence based teaching strategies, skills demonstrations, and competency assessments to help students achieve certification, continuing education goals, and improved health literacy.
