About The Position

The Apprenticeship & Training Assistant supports the daily operations of apprenticeship and training programs across the Atlanta and Georgia Chapters. This position provides essential administrative and training support to ensure courses run smoothly, students and customers receive timely assistance, and program records are maintained accurately.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Experience in an administrative, training, education, customer service, or office environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls from customers, students, and prospective students.
  • Provide accurate information and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff member.
  • Respond to emails and assist with general customer and student communication.
  • Maintain a professional, welcoming, and helpful front-office environment.
  • Perform daily administrative and office support tasks.
  • Manage, organize, and route emails and messages to appropriate staff.
  • File and maintain completed documents and program records.
  • Perform data entry and assist with data collection and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records.
  • Assist with preparing and maintaining course offerings within the training database.
  • Manage student enrollment and course-related information.
  • Assist with coordinating course marketing materials and communications.
  • Set up and administer Zoom courses and other virtual training needs.
  • Support instructors and staff with course administration and scheduling needs.
  • Inventory and prepare course materials and supplies.
  • Print, organize, and assemble student packets and course materials.
  • Prepare classrooms prior to training sessions.
  • Ensure appropriate signage, supplies, and materials are available for each class.
  • Assist with maintaining an organized and prepared training environment.
  • Work collaboratively with instructors, staff, and leadership to support daily program operations.
  • Assist with special projects and other administrative duties as assigned.
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented approach when working with students, instructors, members, and staff.
