About The Position

Join our growing team and help families and businesses recover after fire, water, and storm damage. As a Contents Packout Technician / Driver, you’ll help pack, inventory, transport, clean, and restore customers’ belongings with care and professionalism. No restoration experience? We provide training and opportunities for certifications and advancement. Bring a positive attitude, dependability, and a willingness to learn. Driving company box trucks and vans is a required part of this position. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to meet and maintain the company’s DOT driver qualification requirements.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicles operated.
  • A clean driving record that meets company and insurance carrier requirements.
  • The ability and willingness to safely and legally operate both company box trucks and vans.
  • Qualification for and inclusion in the company’s DOT driver qualification file before operating vehicles requiring DOT qualification, with continued qualification throughout employment.
  • Completion of all applicable driver documentation, driving-record reviews, medical certification, and required driving evaluations.
  • The ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work in various environments.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and good communication.
  • Punctuality, reliability, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in restoration, moving, contents handling, or inventory management is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Carefully pack, inventory, label, and organize customers’ belongings.
  • Safely drive company box trucks and vans between job sites, cleaning facilities, and storage locations.
  • Load, unload, and transport contents safely.
  • Assist with cleaning and restoring items affected by fire, smoke, water, and other damage.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of items handled.
  • Keep work areas, vehicles, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
  • Follow company safety and vehicle procedures.
  • Communicate professionally and compassionately with customers.
  • Work with teammates and supervisors to complete assignments efficiently.
  • Promptly report accidents, citations, license restrictions, or other changes affecting driving eligibility.
