Restoration Packout/Contents Cleaning Technician-Orlando
About The Position
Responsible for cleaning, deodorizing, and restoring a wide variety of household and personal items affected by water, mold, fire, or smoke damage in a warehouse setting. Duties include carefully inventorying, packing, and transporting contents; wrapping and protecting furniture; and moving items into and out of storage throughout the cleaning process. Technicians will use specialized cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals to restore items to pre-loss condition when possible. Additional responsibilities include labeling and tracking items, repacking cleaned contents into boxes for return, maintaining organization of storage areas, and assisting with general warehouse upkeep, cleaning, and safety procedures. Work may involve frequent lifting, standing, bending, and working with cleaning agents. Attention to detail, care in handling customer belongings, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions are essential.
Requirements
- Able to pass a drug screen and background check
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Comfortable working with a variety of chemicals and cleaning products
- No felony convictions
