About The Position

Reporting to the Administrative Director of the Courts, this position is responsible for shaping and maintaining the Supreme Court’s public image by curating, producing, and managing high‑quality content across multiple platforms. The Content Strategist oversees how the court system is represented through publications, videos, digital media, and website content. In alignment with the Court’s priorities, this role develops strategies that strengthen public confidence in the judiciary while promoting transparency and accountability.

Requirements

  • Foundational knowledge of the Oklahoma legal system.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and public‑speaking skills.
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to take ownership without constant direction.
  • Highly organized, accurate, and capable of managing multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Strong writing and editing skills across diverse content formats.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, journalism, or a related field.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Journalism background strongly preferred.
  • Experience creating and publishing online media content, preferred.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in digital content or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the state courts for newsworthy events and prepare and publish content / articles.
  • Communicate with the Justices and Judges for updates for each court.
  • Analyze website usage metrics and identify opportunities for improvement using data, analytics, and related tools.
  • Collaborate with teams to create a user‑centered digital experience, optimizing templates, layouts, and content for accessibility, responsiveness, personalization, and performance across all devices.
  • Incorporate feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Assist the Administrative Director of the Courts with writing, editing, and preparing articles, presentations, and related materials.
  • Prepare the Court’s Annual Report and other publications and communications.
  • Monitor national best‑practice trends and help implement innovative approaches within Oklahoma’s court system.
  • Post Appellate Opinions to the website.
  • Supervise a public relations intern.
  • Build strong, productive partnerships across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Foster a collaborative environment grounded in clear communication.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
