About The Position
This role involves identifying and recruiting US-based screenwriters, leading business negotiations, monitoring US social media trends, and providing strategic direction for script development. The Content Strategist & Producer will evaluate script proposals, provide editorial feedback, and leverage AI for production workflows. The position is based in Los Angeles, California, with an expected base pay range of $80,168.40 to $120,100.00 per year.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of US audience psychology and viewing habits.
- Existing network within the US screenwriting community.
- Solid academic foundation in Film/Media Arts with a comprehensive grasp of full-pipeline production (Film, TV, and Animation).
Responsibilities
- Identify and recruit US-based screenwriters who align with our content strategy.
- Lead end-to-end business negotiations, including contract terms, IP licensing, and long-term partnership agreements.
- Monitor US social media trends, pop culture shifts, and top-performing streaming content to identify high-potential themes.
- Provide actionable creative briefs and strategic direction for upcoming script developments.
- Evaluate incoming script proposals and pilots based on commercial viability and brand alignment.
- Provide professional editorial feedback and structural critiques to elevate the quality of storytelling.
