The Content Specialist will have a deep understanding of the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA), APA style, Title II ADA and WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines, and special education. The specialist will be responsible for consulting with partner teams throughout Tennessee who develop content for the Tennessee Technical Assistance Network (TN-TAN). Through a grant funded by the Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE), TN-TAN provides free resources and technical assistance to school districts across the state of Tennessee. The specialist will consult with partners to provide guidance and ensure that all content is created according to TDOE expectations and guidelines as set forth in the TDOE Style Guide. The specialist will communicate with the CLEE Associate Director, Project Manager, and/or partners daily to provide consultation and feedback regarding resources and documentation. Technical expertise in the use of MS Office, Smartsheet, SharePoint, and Teams is required for this position. Knowledge of and ability to provide training in Title II ADA and WCAG guidelines is required for this position.
