About The Position

Sauna by Wordware is seeking a Content Producer to join their team. This role is responsible for filming, editing, and publishing video content steadily to bring the founder's video ideas to life. The Content Producer will work alongside the Creative Director/Story Crafter, managing the pipeline of video production. The company emphasizes volume and quality, aiming for multiple good pieces per week. This is a full-time, in-person role based in San Francisco (Presidio), requiring 5 days a week in the office. Wordware is a 15-person startup backed by Spark Capital, Felicis, and Y Combinator, with a focus on building innovative AI and software solutions.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Premiere, CapCut, or Resolve.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in captions, hooks, and thumbnails.
  • Experience with systems like checklists, templates, and naming conventions for file organization.
  • AI-native: comfortable using and integrating AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Self-starter capable of taking an idea from conception to publication without constant management.
  • Ability to balance a high quality bar with a consistent posting cadence.
  • Must be based in the Bay Area or willing to relocate before starting.
  • Must have US work authorization; O-1 or J-1 visa sponsorship is possible for exceptional candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Film the founder and the office daily, including setup, shooting, backing up, and archiving footage.
  • Edit videos quickly, write captions, create hooks for the first three seconds, and resize content for various platforms.
  • Publish content on a regular cadence across platforms like X, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts, aiming for five pieces per week.
  • Own and organize the content library, including raw footage, transcripts, cuts, and thumbnails.
  • Run an AI-assisted pipeline for tasks such as transcription, captions, voiceover, versioning, and AI-assisted cuts.
  • Maintain the video concept idea list, turning concepts into shot lists and ensuring content ships on schedule.
  • Support the Creative Director by handling capture and first cuts, allowing them to focus on narrative and craft.
