About The Position

Skimmer is on a mission to modernize the pool and spa service and repair industry. They are a private equity-backed company with over 6000 customers, recognized on the Inc. 5000 list, Deloitte Fast 500, Built In Austin's Best Startups, and Austin's Best Places for Working Parents. The company is seeking an experienced content marketer for a 12-month full-time, fully remote contract role, starting June 1, 2026, to cover a maternity leave. This execution-focused role involves producing and publishing content across various marketing channels, collaborating with the marketing team, and utilizing AI tools. The primary goal is to maintain the momentum of Skimmer's content engine.

Requirements

• Proven experience in content marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS
• Strong content creation skills across multiple formats and channels
• Experience using AI tools in a content workflow
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple deadlines in a remote environment

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Webflow or a similar CMS

Responsibilities

• Write and publish content across all marketing channels, including blog, social, email, community channels
• Produce Skimmer’s annual State of Pool Service industry report
• Execute against an existing content calendar and adapt as priorities shift
• Collaborate with marketing team members to gather context, briefs, and direction
• Use AI tools to support and accelerate content production
• Maintain consistency with established brand voice and content standards
