About The Position

Hatch is seeking a Content Marketing Intern to join their Content team. This role is crucial for expanding Hatch's content presence across social, podcast, and digital platforms, aiming to grow the audience and increase the reach and impact of Hatch content. The ideal candidate should be creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, possess a good instinct for effective content, and be willing to experiment. This position reports to the Director of Content Strategy and requires the intern to be based near Redwood City, CA, with the ability to work at the Hatch Lab three days a week in person.

Responsibilities

• Support marketing campaign launches for key content, including researching podcasts, newsletters, and other channels for promotion opportunities.
• Create and publish YouTube Shorts, including basic editing and optimization.
• Help create and post content for the @hatchpodcast TikTok account.
• Write and optimize titles, descriptions, and tags across social platforms.
• Manage content calendars and ensure posting schedules are maintained.
• Assist with paid ad testing and performance tracking.
• Write creative briefs for blog content.
• Explore Reddit for content marketing opportunities and audience insights.
• Research trends and competitors across content and social media.
• Support ad hoc projects and team needs.
