About The Position

Innovative Home Renovations (IHR) is seeking a Content Marketing Coordinator on a contract basis from June 2026 through January 2027, with potential for extension. This on-site role, located in the Laurelhurst neighborhood of NE Seattle, involves reporting to and collaborating with the Brand & Community Partnerships Marketing Manager. The coordinator will be responsible for creating engaging inbound and outbound content across various platforms, including social media, email, web, and print, to drive quality leads and support business objectives. This is a dynamic, cross-functional position with direct community visibility and a significant impact on IHR's growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in content creation, social media management, and digital marketing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign.
  • Demonstrated "self-starter" with a history of completing projects with limited oversight.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices, lead generation, and email marketing.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube).
  • Ability to analyze metrics (user engagement, conversion rates) to evaluate content effectiveness.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • A proactive mindset with a desire to seek out innovations and improve marketing procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM/marketing platforms.
  • Familiarity with SEO and content strategy.
  • Experience with video editing or visual storytelling.
  • Background in residential design, construction, or architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, write, and edit high-quality marketing content for target audiences.
  • Create weekly social media content across multiple platforms.
  • Write and publish blog posts.
  • Assist with video creation, editing, and publishing for social media and the website.
  • Draft and schedule the monthly email newsletter.
  • Write a monthly neighborhood magazine advertorial and design a full-page ad.
  • Utilize Adobe InDesign for layout and design of proposals, flyers, email flyers, newsletters, postcards, and other branded materials.
  • Collaborate with the marketing manager and other departments to align content with company goals.
  • Assist in creating lead-generation campaigns twice a year.
  • Develop automated lead nurturing email campaigns.
  • Maintain an active presence on social media platforms, fostering community engagement.
  • Assist the marketing manager with office, vehicle, and job site signage, as well as community engagement events.
  • Help create Call-To-Actions (CTAs) and landing pages.
  • Assist in photo and video shoots.
  • Write project spotlights for completed renovations and update the website with client reviews.
