Founding Content & Events Marketing Lead

EndraSan Francisco Bay Area, CA

About The Position

Endra is building AI to transform how engineering teams design buildings, aiming to give engineers superpowers by automating tedious work, enabling them to move faster, and build better. The company has secured significant funding from top investors like a16z. They are seeking their first dedicated Content & Events Marketing Lead to establish Endra's brand presence, create a sustainable content engine, and develop an events strategy focused on pipeline generation. This is a foundational role (0→1) where the successful candidate will collaborate directly with the founders to build the brand, establish repeatable processes, and design an events strategy that generates pipeline. The role is ideal for someone excited about building a category from scratch, comfortable with ambiguity, and skilled at transforming products into movements.

Requirements

  • 4-12 years of experience in content or events marketing at a Seed, Series A, or Series B startup.
  • Proven track record of building content programs that generated measurable business outcomes, not just engagement.
  • Experience planning and executing successful B2B events that created real pipeline.
  • Exceptional writing skills with strong storytelling instincts.
  • Comfortable working directly with founders and assisting in shaping their public voice.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Data-driven yet highly creative.
  • High agency: proactive, moves quickly, and comfortable figuring things out with incomplete information.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience marketing to enterprise technical buyers.
  • Experience building founder brands.
  • Experience with LinkedIn, X, Reddit, or other technical communities.
  • Video production or design skills.
  • Experience using AI tools to accelerate content creation.

Responsibilities

  • Build Endra's Events Engine: Map key conferences, trade shows, meetups, and communities in the US, and determine investment priorities. Develop a scalable field marketing program from inception, managing all aspects from strategy and budgeting to logistics and follow-up. Launch innovative event formats beyond conferences, such as customer dinners, executive roundtables, community events, workshops, and partner activations. Measure success based on pipeline generated.
  • Own Founder-Led Content: Act as the voice for Endra's founders across LinkedIn, X, and other emerging channels. Transform customer conversations, product launches, engineering insights, and market observations into compelling content. Establish a repeatable content machine to drive awareness and inbound demand. Collaborate with founders to capture authentic ideas and maintain a distinct voice. Experiment with new content formats, channels, and distribution strategies.
  • Build Demand: Focus on top-of-funnel growth and pipeline creation. Identify unconventional methods to reach target buyers. Work closely with sales to understand customer pain points and create content that aids the sales process. Analyze performance data to optimize strategies.
  • Build the Function: Develop systems, editorial calendars, playbooks, and processes for scalability. Manage freelancers, agencies, photographers, videographers, or contractors as needed. Contribute to defining Endra's brand and storytelling.
  • Establish Endra as a recognizable voice in AI for engineering.
