About the position

The Content Developer will play a crucial role in Correlation One's mission by creating and managing impactful educational content for their rapidly growing course areas. They will be responsible for overseeing the entire content development process, from defining objectives and timelines to tracking progress and communicating with stakeholders. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams to ensure that each program delivers a valuable learning experience for learners, enabling their professional growth and advancement. With their expertise in online learning and content development, the Content Developer will contribute to the design of innovative solutions and techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Operate as Content Owner for assigned programs
  • Manage content development for programs from inception to completion
  • Define and meet objectives and timelines for content development
  • Set up mechanisms to track and communicate progress to internal and external stakeholders
  • Understand and follow strategic direction and "big picture" vision for clients
  • Bring expertise in online learning and content development
  • Present innovative solutions and techniques for content development
  • Define learning objectives and develop course outlines
  • Build training courses that align with learning objectives
  • Ensure all content (activities, assessments, homework, etc.) aligns with learning objectives
  • Stand up and operationalize new processes and workflows for content authoring and delivery
  • Design workflows that are simple and easily adopted by other team members
  • Develop and grow knowledge of the EdTech and corporate training landscape
  • Provide recommendations for content delivery methods based on learner profile and client goals
  • Bring a content and learning perspective to decision making
  • Translate client needs to curriculum requirements
  • Consider all aspects of delivery, facilitation, and scheduling
  • Design technical, data-focused courses for online learning
  • Have a working knowledge of Python and SQL
  • Comfortable with quick pivots and operating with some level of ambiguity
  • Seek clarity through open and thoughtful communication
  • Biased for action and tenacious
  • Collaborative spirit and proactive in reaching out to people
  • Keep others in the loop and determine appropriate channels for communication and collaboration
  • Self-aware and able to learn and grow from actions that did not return the desired outcome
  • Recruit, hire, and manage contractors
  • Quickly activate resources towards content needs
  • Comfortable and excited about working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience working in a content- or product-development role for an EdTech organization or content provider
  • Deep experience executing content projects that align with company goals
  • Strong understanding of how projects impact goals, prioritizing based on highest impact
  • Ability to translate client needs to curriculum requirements
  • Expertise in designing technical, data-focused courses for online learning, synchronous and asynchronous training
  • Working knowledge of Python and SQL
  • Comfortable with quick pivots and operating with some level of ambiguity
  • Biased for action and tenacious
  • Collaborative spirit and proactive in reaching out to people and keeping them in the loop
  • Self-aware and able to learn and grow from actions that did not return the desired outcome
  • Can recruit, hire, and manage contractors
  • Comfortable and excited about working in a fast-paced startup environment
