About The Position

This is a 12-month contract position for a Content Designer/UX Writer. The role requires 5 years of experience in UX content writing or UX content design, focusing on microcopy, mobile app copy, and error messages. The position is hybrid, with 3 days onsite in Chicago Loop and 2 days work from home, and is not open to 100% remote candidates. The hiring process involves a 2-step interview and a portfolio is required.

Responsibilities

Create and oversee clear, concise, and user-focused content within complex digital interfaces (mobile and desktop)
Collaborate with Product Designers to integrate content seamlessly into product flows and UX decisions
Connect the dots across projects, ensuring consistency and alignment with enterprise-wide content strategy
Simplify complex financial concepts into clear, actionable, and engaging user experiences, while appropriately incorporating required regulatory language
Review and approve content, confidently defending decisions and negotiating with stakeholders
Participate in peer reviews, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and consistency
Continuously evolve content standards and guidelines to improve scalability and experience quality
Actively engage in team discussions by being candid, thoughtful, and solution-oriented
