About The Position

Born Social is seeking a full-time Content Creator to produce best-in-class social-first content. The ideal candidate will be technically proficient and passionate about social media, capable of integrating brand messaging, audience insights, mobile-first shooting, and viral constructs. Our in-house creators work rapidly, generating platform-perfect content that is responsive to social media trends.

Requirements

• Strong experience creating social-first content with an understanding of what works across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms.
• Confidence in leading shoots, directing talent, and managing post-production.
• Comfort stepping on camera when required.
• A strong creative point of view, excellent attention to detail, and curiosity for emerging content trends.
• Ability to work fast, think on your feet, and adapt to daily trends in an agile and fast-paced environment.
• Immersion in social and popular culture, staying up-to-date with the latest trends.
• Enjoyment of developing people and pushing creative standards higher.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with Creatives to plan shot-lists and ensure concepts and shooting techniques align with social-first and platform-native styles.
• Working closely with client stakeholders to complete pre-production actions (e.g., permissions, release forms) and advising on specific equipment needs for shoots.
• Shooting video content for Instagram Reels, Stories, and TikTok, ensuring alignment with art direction and concepts, and utilizing social-first, platform-native shooting techniques. This may include appearing on camera.
• Delivering social-first edits, ensuring seamless audio syncing, clear narrative, and platform-native consistency, and handing off to the Design team for further enhancements.
• Educating other teams on in-app content best practices and upskilling relevant team members on formats and delivery.
• Forming strong working relationships across account teams and departments, providing excellent communication and collaboration.
