About The Position

As Content Creator at Pump, you will be the face and voice of the company on social media. You will create short-form video and social content that makes cloud costs interesting and builds an audience among engineers, founders, and finance leaders. This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing team, build Pump’s social presence from the ground up, and help shape the company’s culture and values.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience creating social and video content for a brand, startup, or personal channels.
• A portfolio or channel demonstrating real audience growth.
• Comfort working both on camera and behind the camera.
• Strong editing skills using CapCut, Premiere, or similar tools.
• Curiosity about technology and willingness to learn about the cloud space.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
• Availability to work onsite five days a week in Pump’s San Francisco office.

Nice To Haves

• Experience building an audience for a B2B or technology brand.
• Motion graphics or design skills, such as After Effects or Figma.

Responsibilities

• Create short-form video and social content for LinkedIn, X, YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
• Script, film, and edit content, including founder and customer stories, explainers, and behind-the-scenes content at Pump.
• Grow Pump’s and its leadership’s social following and engagement.
• Turn launches, blog posts, and customer wins into social-first content in collaboration with marketing and design.
• Spot trends quickly and publish content fast.
• Track content performance and focus on what works.
