About The Position

DOPE Marketing is looking for a creative, fast-moving Content Creator & Video Editor to own and produce content across our organic social channels. This role requires someone who can identify opportunities, develop concepts, film, edit footage, and produce engaging content. This is a self-directed position where you will be expected to proactively find and create content without constant direction.

Requirements

• Experience in content creation and video editing with a portfolio to prove it
• Creative, quick, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage oneself, maintain consistent output, and find content opportunities independently
• Strong skills in both filming and editing
• Experience with short-form social content
• Ability to create content from concept through final edit
• Comfortable creating product and software videos
• Self-directed and highly productive
• Ability to take direct feedback, make changes, and keep moving
• Up-to-date on social trends, hooks, and editing styles
• Comfortable using AI and modern creative tools

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Descript, Claude and other AI creative tools

Responsibilities

• Create short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube
• Film and edit Reels, Shorts and other social content
• Edit long-form video, interviews, podcasts and educational content
• Turn long-form footage into multiple short-form pieces
• Create product videos for print and marketing products
• Create software demos, walkthroughs and feature videos
• Create organic social and paid ad creative alongside the marketing team
• Film employees, leadership, products, production and events
• Develop concepts, hooks and scripts
• Find content opportunities without waiting for an assignment
• Help manage a consistent organic social content calendar
