About The Position

Sharecare is seeking a Social Media Manager and Content Creator for Sharecare and AskMD. This role combines strategy and hands-on creative work, focusing on managing social channels and producing engaging content. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of story, an eye for performance, and the ability to create finished posts. Sharecare provides the platform, production support, budget, and brand, while the candidate brings strategy, creative instincts, and operational rigor. AskMD is a personal health guide from Sharecare that helps users understand health issues, determine next steps, and find appropriate care, without providing diagnoses or replacing a doctor.

Requirements

• 3+ years managing brand or creator social channels, with a proven track record of audience and engagement growth.
• Hands-on creative skills: ability to concept, shoot, and edit short-form video.
• Comfortable with voice or camera presence when content requires it.
• Experienced with or open to AI-assisted production tools.
• Deep fluency in Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube: understanding formats, trends, and audience engagement drivers.
• A strong sense of story and voice, with a keen eye for brand consistency.
• Strong project management skills, with experience coordinating talent and contributors on tight timelines.
• An analytical mindset: ability to set goals, interpret data, and take action.
• Based in Atlanta and knowledgeable about the city’s culture, sports, and events.
• Comfortable working in a fast, iterative environment.
• Interest in health and wellness is a plus (no medical background required).

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day management of Sharecare and AskMD’s social channels, including strategy, content calendar, publishing, and platform-native best practices across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Concept, script, and produce recurring short-form series focused on everyday health moments, including myth-busting, man-on-the-street interviews, and live event content.
• Create content hands-on: shoot, edit, write captions, and appear on camera when appropriate.
• Leverage artificial intelligence tools to automate and scale social media content creation and enhance campaign efficiency.
• Coordinate with writers, producers, editors, and collaborators to maintain a fast, test-and-learn content pipeline.
• Manage community engagement: respond, moderate, and build relationships with the audience and with creators, athletes, and partners.
• Track performance against clear goals, report on successful strategies, and use insights to shape the content roadmap.
• Support launches, live events, and collaborations across Atlanta sports, culture, and wellness.
• Ensure all content touching health guidance is routed through Sharecare’s brand and clinical review to maintain brand safety and consistency.
