About The Position

Unicity is seeking a Social Media Content Creator to manage its day-to-day presence on Instagram and Facebook. This role involves driving the brand's tone and image, creating content, shooting and editing native video, identifying collaboration partners, and leveraging AI. A key aspect of the role is engaging with the online community through comments and direct messages. This is a hands-on position where demonstrated success in building and growing social media accounts is highly valued.

Requirements

• Exceptional photo and video production skills (especially with an iPhone), from concept through final edit.
• Strong command of composition, visual storytelling, hook, setup, and payoff.
• Natural curiosity about AI content tools and emerging technologies.
• High-energy, entrepreneurial mindset: self-directed, proactive, and driven to make great work.
• Demonstrated success in building and growing a social media page or channel.
• Comfortable being behind and in front of the camera, and confident editing on mobile.
• Native fluency in Instagram and Facebook, understanding what performs on each platform and why.
• A sense for when content is drifting from 'premium and native' into 'salesy' and the instinct to correct it.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with direct-to-consumer or affiliate marketing models.
• Experience ideally at a DTC or subscription brand.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day social media channels (Instagram and Facebook), including responding to DMs and comments promptly and authentically.
• Produce native content and edit video to maintain a premium product positioning, focusing on creating pride and desire rather than hard pitches.
• Proactively engage on Instagram by commenting on partner videos, interacting with relevant accounts, and increasing brand visibility.
• Track trending content on each platform and adapt it to fit the brand and audience.
• Collaborate with the broader marketing team to ensure all content aligns with campaigns, launches, and brand voice.
