About The Position

Prime Video is seeking an experienced Content Acquisition Manager to join its Latin America licensing team. This role involves supporting the execution of local content acquisition strategies with various partners, including independent producers, distributors, TV network groups, and other niche content providers. The position offers hands-on experience in content negotiations, analytical insights, and collaboration with experienced acquisition leaders across the LATAM region. The goal is to evaluate content opportunities, support deal execution, and drive engagement and value for Prime Video customers throughout Latin America.

Requirements

• 5+ years of account management, business development, content licensing or finance experience
• Knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google docs and sheets
• Knowledge of music licensing, Copyright Law, and current musical landscape in the US, EU, and otherwise

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years of content acquisition or sync licensing experience
• Experience in an account management, licensing or business development role

Responsibilities

• Support the negotiation and execution of LATAM SVOD content licensing agreements with independent producers and distributors, TV network groups, and other partners across various business models.
• Assist in managing content licensing selection and mix across multiple content categories, optimizing portfolio composition.
• Analyze data on customer behavior, usage, and consumption to inform content acquisition decisions and identify new content genres.
• Contribute to content acquisition plans, financial metrics, and goals for senior management by providing analytical support and performance tracking.
• Help establish and maintain strong relationships with content providers.
• Develop a deep understanding of financial analysis, content performance forecasting, and technical requirements for video uploads and delivery.
• Collaborate with internal teams (legal, finance, marketing, etc.) to support content strategies and execute content licensing agreements.
• Maintain a can-do attitude and willingness to solve problems at short notice, supporting the entire licensing process end-to-end.
