About The Position
The compacter repair technician performs repairs and maintenance to compactors to maximize operations. This role involves performing preventive maintenance inspections, diagnostics, and repair of electrical and hydraulic systems on compactors. The technician may also be required to travel to customer locations within the region to repair containers.
Requirements
- Equivalent of (1) high school diploma or G.E.D. certification and 1 year of related equipment maintenance and repair; OR (2) 4 years of related equipment maintenance and repair.
- Valid drivers license.
Nice To Haves
- Mechanical or trade school certificate
- Certificate in electronic diagnostics
- ASE certificate
- Welding and/or fabrication skills and/or experience.
Responsibilities
