About The Position

Urology Clinics of North Texas is seeking a motivated, service-oriented Contact Center Specialist to support physicians, clinical teams, and patients through efficient scheduling and exceptional service. The specialist manages high-volume patient scheduling and frequent schedule changes in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail and adaptability. The position is fully remote after successful completion of a mandatory eight-week, in-person training program in Dallas, Texas. Mileage reimbursement is available for employees who live more than 20 miles from the training location.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Strong typing and data entry skills.
Excellent grammar, spelling, and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
Ability to manage high call volume while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Schedule a high volume of new and established patient appointments in accordance with physician templates and guidelines.
Provide professional, courteous service to patients, physicians, and team members.
Reschedule or cancel appointments in response to provider schedule changes and document updates in the EHR system.
Verify and accurately update patient demographic and insurance information in the EHR.
Review patient charts to ensure appointments are scheduled appropriately.
Follow up with patients who missed appointments and assist with rescheduling.
Adapt to daily schedule changes and operational needs.
Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned by leadership.
