SUMMARY: Under general supervision of the Program Manager, Medicaid Waiver - perform office clerical work in the Medicaid Waiver Program that includes filing documents, checking files for the purpose of case reviews, and general review of case records for Medicaid Waiver documents. HOURLY RANGE: $19.7748 - $27. 8251 per hour SIGN-ON BONUS! $250 sign-on bonus after the completion of 90 days of employment at IRC with work performance in good standing. $500 sign-on bonus after the completion of 6 months of employment at IRC with work performance in good standing. [https://www.inlandrc.org/careers/] ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Daily comply with the administrative requirements of the agency and provide administrative support for the agency’s Medicaid Waiver Program. Complete necessary paperwork, case file reviews, reports, etc. on a timely basis. Responsible for preparing, tracking, and processing out all Institutional (“I”) Deeming cases for Senior Consumer Services Coordinators (CSCs)/Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professionals (QIDPs). Complete and email all “I” referrals to the County Program Specialist for both Riverside and San Bernardino Counties for the “I” cases. Identify potential Medicaid Waiver cases. Create working files of potential consumers for the QIDPS to review and certify. Monthly reconciliation of Basic category and “I” cases as applicable to case status (i.e., initial certification or recertification). Provides Secretary V list of completed monthly certifications and recertification for input/transmission into Uniform Fiscal System (UFS) for Department of Developmental Services’ (DDS) records. Verify and complete all monthly Medi-Cal County renewal via e-mails for both Riverside and San Bernardino County Medi-Cal offices. Update the UFS system to reflect issues with renewal of consumer’s Medi-Cal eligibility. Follow up with CSCs completing various processes to stay in compliance with the requirements of the Medicaid Waiver program. Provide Senior CSCs/QIDPs updates on all inquiries from Medi-Cal offices as applicable. Print and file completed ICRC 90 forms that are sent by CSCs to terminate consumers if they have moved, were placed in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Intermediate Care Facility home, transferred to another Regional Center, were inactivate or died. Assure that any closed case is terminated from the Medicaid Waiver program. Work efficiently with the Medicaid Waiver Quality Assurance (QA) technician on a flow basis by prepping “I” cases to replace all miscellaneous terminations. Update the Medicaid Waiver QA technician on the total number of “I” cases and miscellaneous case terminations to maintain the base numbers allocated to Inland Regional Center by DDS. Mail out, track, and maintain appropriate storage of Notice of Action (NOA) letters sent to Medicaid Waiver consumers and/or families. Assure consumers’ rights and dignity are maintained in the provision of services. Comply with Agency Personnel Policies and Procedures. Comply with the Agency Affirmative Action Plan. Comply with the Agency’s Injury and Illness Prevention Plan. Notify Program Manager, Medicaid Waiver of any unsafe work conditions. Use equipment appropriately and keep it in good repair. Keep work area neat and orderly and free from hazards. Observe all safety rules. Utilize agency’s IT systems as assigned, maintaining security and following agency’s protocol and procedures, rules and requirements. Daily maintain an adequate skill level in interpersonal and community relationships. Handle change well. Is flexible and adaptable in dealing with interruptions, new priorities and new assignments. Aggressively seek to maintain currency and expand relevant knowledge base. Perform as a member of a team, answering questions, sharing expertise and generally contributing to the harmony of the team. Maintain good attendance and punctuality. Keep Program Manager, Medicaid Waiver informed of pending work, work in progress and problems encountered. Utilize bilingual skills in all aspects of the job as able and as required. Successfully complete all assignments arising out of the Agency’s Performance Contract. Perform different or additional work as needed or assigned by the Program Manager, Medicaid Waiver.
