About The Position

Truist is seeking talented students to join Consumer & Small Business Banking (CSBB) for the Summer 2027 Internship Program in Charlotte, NC. The CSBB Summer Internship Program offers opportunities across a variety of business units that help serve clients, drive innovation, and support strategic priorities. Whether you're interested in building client relationships, enhancing digital experiences, developing products, or supporting business execution, you'll gain meaningful experience and exposure to one of Truist's largest lines of business. Interns will have the opportunity to indicate the business unit they are most interested in exploring, with placements determined based on candidate interests, qualifications, business needs, and available opportunities. The CSBB Summer Internship Program is a 10-week immersive experience based in Charlotte, NC, combining meaningful work, professional development, mentorship, networking, and exposure to senior leaders across Consumer & Small Business Banking. CSBB interns will participate full-time (39.5 hours per week) during Summer 2027. Throughout the summer, interns will: Gain exposure to the financial services industry and one of Truist's largest lines of business Build skills in leadership, communication, analytics, project management, and problem-solving Connect with leaders, mentors, and fellow interns across Truist Participate in development experiences designed to strengthen business acumen and professional growth Contribute to real business priorities and strategic initiatives while applying concepts and skills learned through training, development, and hands-on experience Specific responsibilities and project opportunities may vary based on business placement. Every aspect of the program is designed to help CSBB interns connect, learn from one another, and experience the power of One Team. By the end of the summer, you'll leave with meaningful experience, a stronger professional network, and skills that support your future career goals.

Requirements

  • English fluency (Required)
  • Ability to work in Charlotte, NC for the duration of the internship program
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Communications, Analytics, Data Science, Technology, or a related field
  • Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028
  • 3.0 GPA or higher preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated leadership through work, campus, or community involvement
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Interest in financial services and banking
