The Consumer Payments Experience Manager defines and improves the end-to-end consumer money movement experience across products, channels, and payment types, including debit card, digital banking, account funding, deposits, ACH, bill pay, and person-to-person payments. The role identifies customer pain points, journey friction, and experience gaps, then develops customer-centric solutions to improve satisfaction, adoption, and engagement. It partners with product managers, operations, technology, analytics, marketing, and customer-facing teams to prioritize, execute, and implement experience enhancements across multiple lines of business. The position develops business cases, influences roadmaps, leads cross-functional initiatives, and drives organizational adoption of new capabilities and process improvements. The role coordinates promotional, marketing, and communication programs; researches competitive and industry data; analyzes sales information and projections; supports training and sales tools; serves as a subject matter expert and lead on special projects; manages vendor relationships; and ensures product risk controls and regulatory compliance. It may participate in product development, provide geography support, collaborate with sales and cross-functional teams, complete complex projects, and recommend marketing strategies. The role is intended to be onsite, with regular hours and full days in the office three or more days a week; the manager sets the schedule. Locations available include Birmingham, Alabama; Atlanta, Georgia; or Charlotte, North Carolina. The position is full-time and exempt from timekeeping under the Fair Labor Standards Act, so it is not eligible for overtime pay. It may be filled at a higher level depending on qualifications and relevant experience.
