About The Position
The primary function of this role is the sound processing of new consumer loans. This involves reviewing a member's loan request and gathering all supporting documentation necessary for underwriting and funding the loan. The Consumer Loan Processor works directly with Consumer Loan Underwriters and reports to the Consumer Loan Supervisor.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 days per week in office.
- Ability to take applications and enter them into the loan origination system.
- Availability to answer calls coming into the new consumer loan and underwriting queues.
Responsibilities
- Mailing of Adverse Action Notices to applicants.
- Uploading all documentation to the imaging system as it relates to adverse action.
- Preparing loan documents for in-branch and electronic closings.
- Funding all consumer loan electronic closings.
- Ensuring electronic delivery of documents for closings.
- Reviewing and confirming all appropriate signatures on loan documents.
- Receiving credit card documents from branches for new account promotional credit cards.
- Completing credit card order forms and uploading them to Nautilus.
- Sending credit card order forms to the Operations Department with instructions for all miscellaneous fields for promotion.
- Taking applications and entering them into the loan origination system via phone or internet.
- Answering calls coming into the new consumer loan and underwriting queues.
