About The Position

The Consumer Loan Processor is responsible for preparing loan documents, ensuring compliance with regulations and BancFirst policies, ordering and reviewing collateral documents, communicating with customers and vendors, clearing loan exceptions, preparing written correspondence, and reviewing closed loan packages. Other duties and special projects may be assigned. This role requires knowledge of loan documentation, lending practices, grammar, punctuation, Microsoft Office, banking software, and BancFirst products and services. Strong listening, communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills are essential, as is the ability to work under stress and meet deadlines. The position involves constant computer use, typing, and repetitive motion, with intermittent standing, stooping, bending, walking, kneeling, or crouching. The ability to lift up to 10 pounds is also required.

Requirements

Knowledge of loan documentation and lending practices
Knowledge of grammar and punctuation rules
Outstanding listening and communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn, banking software applications
Knowledge of Laser Pro and Decision Pro
General understanding of BancFirst products and services
Critical thinking skills
Detail oriented
Must work well under stress and deadlines
Ability to manage multiple tasks

Preparation of loan documents

Customer communication: On the telephone and in person with employees and vendors
Clear loan exceptions
Prepare written correspondence
Review closed loan packages
