About The Position

Provide professional, knowledgeable and courteous service to internal employees, 3rd party vendors and others in the processing and booking of consumer and home equity loans. This position is responsible to accurately and efficiently process a variety of loan applications, closing documents and lending inquiries and making sure all loans meet established quality standards prior to booking.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
2+ years consumer loan processing or related experience.
Excellent customer service, in a financial institution preferred.
Previous PC experience, Microsoft Office preferred.
Math aptitude and keyboarding skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work as a team player being flexible and dependable.
Ability to work independently while displaying initiative and decision-making skills.
Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism while working under pressure.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and various background checks.

Responsibilities

Accurately and efficiently process a variety of loan applications, closing documents and lending inquiries.
Ensure all loans meet established quality standards prior to booking.
Provide professional, knowledgeable and courteous service to internal employees, 3rd party vendors and others in the processing and booking of consumer and home equity loans.
Maintain awareness of enterprise compliance requirements, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA/AML) obligations, and follow internal policies and escalation protocols as applicable.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance at the workplace.
