Beehive Federal Credit Union is seeking a full-time Consumer Loan Officer to work in our Rexburg branches. The position works 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday with regular Saturdays. The expected pay is $21.97 per hour, DOE.

Requirements

• Two to five years of similar or related experience.
• High school or equivalent education.
• Must provide friendly, professional, personal service to all members.

Responsibilities

• Interviews member loan applicants to develop information concerning their loan needs, earnings, and financial condition.
• Analyze the current financial position of members to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.
• Makes decisions to approve, disapprove, or forward the loan request to higher levels of authority.
• Builds and maintains strong member relationships through direct outreach using outbound phone calls, email, text messaging, and other communication methods.
• Provides personalized service by reviewing member accounts, identifying financial needs, recommending appropriate loan solutions.
• Will actively engage in needs-based selling.
