About The Position

We are hiring a Consumer Lending Servicing Specialist. This role plays a key part in supporting lending operations and ensuring members receive accurate, timely, and professional service. The specialist will assist with various loan servicing functions, including researching and resolving loan issues, processing corrections and adjustments, and maintaining loan records after closing. Regular communication with members and internal teams is required to answer questions, resolve discrepancies, and ensure a smooth lending experience. Tasks include handling payment issues, processing refunds, and reviewing loan files for accuracy and compliance, all with attention to detail and ownership. The role requires thriving in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, maintaining organization, and follow-through. Monitoring reports, reviewing loan data, and ensuring processes align with internal policies and regulatory requirements are also key. Strong problem-solving skills and professionalism are essential to create a positive member experience and support the Consumer Lending team's success.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years of lending, banking, or related experience preferred
  • Knowledge of loan servicing processes and financial products
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and member service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized
  • Proficient computer and typing skills
  • Strong problem solver with a keen eye for detail
  • Pride in accuracy and providing excellent service
  • Organized, dependable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
