About The Position

Bimbo Bakeries USA, Inc. (BBUSA) is transforming its marketing capabilities to accelerate branded growth. The Associate Consumer Insights plays a key role in supporting the company’s consumer-centric efforts. Within the Marketing Center of Excellence (MCOE) team, this role supports the Senior Manager Consumer Insights, Core Brands, in executing research activities and ensuring insights are effectively incorporated into brand and business decisions. This position plays an important role in shaping consumer-centric decisions through supporting research design, analysis, storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration. The Associate leverages both quantitative and qualitative techniques to reveal compelling insights, inform brand strategy, and strengthen marketing activation. They bring a data driven mindset, a natural sense of curiosity, and a commitment to elevating the consumer perspective across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Market Research, Psychology, or other related fields required.
  • Experience in consumer insights, market research, or marketing, preferably with direct experience at a CPG company or marketing research/insights agency.
  • Proficient in selecting and applying appropriate research methodologies, including concept testing, brand health tracking, packaging, and creative testing.
  • Experienced in developing and executing consumer research studies—from survey design and data analysis to synthesizing insights and presenting findings.
  • Strong ability to translate research results into clear, actionable recommendations that support brand and business needs.
  • Solid project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; able to summarize data and insights into cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Proactive problem-solver with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree a plus.
  • Experience with syndicated POS, panel and receipt data (Circana/Nielsen/Numerator) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of BBU’s consumer insights strategy to address business needs and contribute to broader marketing initiatives. Critical areas impacted by this role will include brand strategy, marketing activation, and product development.
  • Manage day-to-day aspects of consumer research to ensure high-quality research outcomes for the Morning & Snacking portfolio brands.
  • Day-to-day management includes briefing research agencies, method selection, analysis and development of recommended actions to drive business decisions.
  • Create streamlined reports using various sources, compiling results into a concise, meaningful, actionable format.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure research execution aligns with brand and business objectives.
  • Support the management of research budgets, timelines, and vendor coordination to ensure projects stay on track and within scope.
